Minnesota Beef Council Staff
Executive Director – Karin Schaefer
Karin is responsible for: Management of budget, staff and oversight of all check-off programs, activities and functions of the Minnesota Beef Council. Serves as a spokesperson for the beef industry and beef check-off programs with consumers and media. Provides leadership by directing all research projects for the Minnesota Beef Council.
Business Manager – Katie Davis
Katie is responsible for: Provides leadership and coordination of our Beef Checkoff Collections & Compliance. Provides administrative and program support to our Minnesota Beef Council Board of Directors and Staff through: general booking & accounting efforts, payroll, benefits & insurance, coordinating all contracts for the Minnesota Beef Council, managing our certified producer listing and coordinating our Board of Director Elections.
Industry Relations Director – Royalee Rhoads
Royalee is responsible for: Channel Communications with Beef Retail and Foodservice partners, providing leadership and coordination to our Local Producer Promotion Program. Providing leadership and coordination to our Producer Communications. Program Management of Industry Tradeshows for the Minnesota Beef Council. Serving as the key representative for the Minnesota Beef Council with Beef Industry partners.
Communications Director – Becky Church
Becky is responsible for: Supporting the consumer communications strategy to reach a defined target audience through social media management, digital community outreach, and consumer education and promotion through earned and paid media, consumer and industry events and the Team Beef program.
Beef Quality Assurance – Ashley Kohls
Ashley is responsible for: Providing leadership and coordination to our Beef Quality Assurance and Dairy Beef Quality Assurance Programs.
Food & Nutrition Consultant – Renee Korczak
Renee is responsible for: Serving as a key nutritional spokesperson for the Minnesota Beef Council with consumers and media. Assisting with programs related to Dietetics and Nutrition.
