Whether your summer is full of baseball games, livestock shows, or trips to the cabin, a busy schedule can get in the way of healthy eating. But the good news is, it doesn’t have to! This summer we’ll be sharing with you our favorite recipes that keep us full on-the-go, without weighing us down. We’ll also be showing you simple switches for snacks, meals, and restaurants that make it easy to eat healthy.
My life as a college student, intern, and cattlewoman keeps me crazy busy, though I’ve always loved having a full calendar. Luckily, I’ve learned some helpful tips to keep me energized. I spent my first year and a half of college as a Pre-Med student before switching to an Agricultural Communications major to pursue my passion for agricultural advocacy (chemistry may or may not have also nudged me toward switching). But my Pre-Med courses have proven to be beneficial, as I can now use that information to advocate for all the health benefits that beef provides. My combined interest in a healthy lifestyle and beef promotion are the inspiration behind this blog series.

Becky and I will cover starting your day with a great breakfast, easy recipes to cook ahead when traveling, smart snacking, simple swaps at your favorite restaurants, and more! Healthy eating doesn’t have to be difficult, nor does it mean cutting out all of your favorites. Because let’s face it, that just leaves you hangry.
