What's Better than Beef PLUS Chocolate?

Becky Church | January 16, 2019

Name a better duo than beef and chocolate..we're waiting..

It's Thursday, which means tomorrow is Friday, which means it's then Saturday - which is the weekend! *Cue the confetti.

In the beef kitchen, Katie and I are known as the bakers. We love chatting about what we'll whip, mix and bake up next. Never in our wildest dreams, did we think that our two favorite worlds of beef and chocolate would collide.

Until today.

It happened.

The heavens opened, and out came a cookie recipe with all of our favorite things - peanut butter, nutella, chocolate and #beef.

Print out the full recipe here.

First off, we preheated the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Then, we added our butter, sugars and egg into our Ninja food processor. If you do not have access to a snazzy Kitchen Aid mixer, a food processor works really well...as does the manpower behind a spoon or whisk with your buff and beefy biceps ;)

Case in point -

After creaming the sugars, butters and egg, we added in flour, soda, salt and vanilla extract - and mixed again!

Next, I lined a baking sheet with parchment paper to make for an easy clean-up. This kitchen hack also works well for easy beef sheet pan dinners! Just toss out the parchment paper when you're done baking, and you don't have to spend hours scraping/cleaning your pan in the sink! #winning

You can also use a nonstick cookie sheet or spray the pan with cooking spray to avoid sticking.

Space cookies one inch apart, and then pop the pan into the oven for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.

That's all there is to it!

We hope that you have as much fun with your beef baking party, as we did with our's!

Life motto: You're just a cookie away from having a brighter day.

Cookies even passed the dunk-ability test by Karin!

And then we commended Ashley, who clearly had more self-discipline than the rest of us...

Make it a great rest of the week!

#nobeefleftbehind,

Becky
